If buyers or sellers are more than one person, then the amount of the real estate commission is divided to each, depending on the percentage of co-ownership in the property.

The percentage of the commission in the real estate buying and selling – contractual considerations is usually 2% (+ VAT) and in property rentals an amount equal to a monthly rent (+ VAT). These amounts are given in full independently by both parties.

The broker is entitled to a fee, apart from the sale and rent, for any contract that will be drawn up as a result of his own suggestion for property viewing and concerns the acquisition or transfer of the right of ownership or use or exploitation of the relevant property in any other way. By signing the order to view a property and the assignment order respectively, you declare, inter alia, that you accept the above and your are committed to pay the broker the agreed brokerage fee, which you consider reasonable and fair. In the event that a final contract is not concluded, you do not bear any financial responsibility to the broker. The broker is protected by law and is represented by the Greek Federation of Real Estate Brokers and the Attica Association of Realtors.
