ALIMOS
Things you will love
Alimos is a rising southern suburb of the Athenian Riviera, located in a unique location. Accessibility
Access to Alimos is particularly easy, as solutions are provided coordinated with all lines of the city's transport network through the metro, tram and buses. This is an ideal location a short distance from key points. Specifically, it is located near the center of Athens and it is a 15-minute drive from the port of Piraeus and a 45-minute drive from the Athens International Airport.
ILIOUPOLI
Ilioupoli belongs to the Central Sector of Athens and is located at the end of Mount Hymettus and next to Vyronas, Argyroupoli and Agios Dimitrios. This is an area that includes many forest areas so it has a lot of green in some places. The fact that it is crossed by the Pikrodafni stream, for the reconstruction of which many efforts are made, also contributes to the natural beauty. It has a good street planning with main feature that most of its neighborhoods are spread around a central square, therefore it has many squares, with the main ones being the Ethnikis Antistasis, Anexartisias and 25th Martiou.
Ilioupoli is located near Elliniko and therefore at the old airport. When the Hellinikon airport was still in operation, the construction of high-rise buildings in the surrounding areas was not allowed. For this reason many of the houses located in Ilioupoli consist of only two floors. When the airport was relocated, high-rise buildings were allowed to be erected. After this change, there was a significant increase in construction activity. In Ilioupoli there are many schools of all levels and a private secondary education school. In terms of transport, the area is served by bus lines but also by the metro station of the same name. Its access to the center of Athens is very easy, as it is adjacent to Vouliagmeni Avenue. In the Avenue there are many large shops, chains and handicrafts with furniture and other household items.
AG.DIMITRIOS
Agios Dimitrios belongs to the Southern Suburbs. This is an area just as close to the center of Athens and the shores of the Athenian Riviera. It borders Dafni, Ilioupoli, Alimos, Paleo Faliro and Nea Smyrni. It has many permanent residents, it is a relatively densely populated area with what characterizes a large center. It has shops on the main thoroughfares, the Metro Mall, big stores, the mansion that houses many of the services of the Municipality, municipal theater, stadiums, cultural centers, numerous schools of all levels. Agios Dimitrios is crossed by Vouliagmeni Avenue, gaining very easy access to the center of Athens by car too. It is served by many different bus lines and has a metro station that was once a terminal, resulting in many connections to the relevant bus lines.
It is also crossed by the Pikrodafni stream, which is considered an element of special natural beauty and in fact many efforts are made for its regeneration. Its existence offers heavier vegetation in the surrounding area.
DAFNI
Dafni belongs to the Central Sector of Athens, in the wider Municipality of Dafni- Hymettus which consists of the municipal units of the same name. It is located next to Hymettus, Agios Dimitrios and Neos Kosmos. This is an area with several permanent residents and students due to the existence of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science of Athens within its boundaries. It is a shopping center with a variety of shops and craft industries. It has a pedestrian street with a strong commercial element, where many of the shops are located, but it also hosts large chains mainly on Vouliagmeni Avenue. Its access to the Southern Suburbs, with which it borders and is their connecting link with the Central Sector, as well as to the center of Athens is very easy, on the one hand thanks to the fact that Dafni is crossed by Vouliagmeni Avenue and on the other because it is served by the red line metro station of the same name. Along with the metro, the transport network is complemented by bus lines that operate frequently with many connections.
NEA SMYRNI
Nea Smyrni belongs to the Southern Suburbs and is located next to Neos Kosmos, Paleo Faliro, Agios Dimitrios and Kallithea. It is a large municipality with several permanent residents and a large shopping center with numerous shops. Its center is suitable for shopping, walking, coffee, food or drink. Some stores are smaller and other are chains, while many are "stock" stores of large groups. A key element that gives natural beauty to the area is the fenced grove that exists, which covers an area of 50 acres. It is full of trees, shrubs and ornamental plants. It is a choice for young, older and families with children for walking, cycling and playing in nature. There are also several concerts, theaters and shows for children. Nea Smyrni is crossed along almost all of its neighborhoods by the Tram, through which it acquires direct access to other areas of the Southern Suburbs and the center of Athens. It is adjacent to Syggrou Avenue, gaining easy access to the center of Athens by car too.
PALEO FALIRO
Paleo Faliro belongs to the Southern Suburbs of Athens and is located next to Kallithea, Nea Smyrni, Agios Dimitrios and Alimos. It is a very large coastal municipality with several permanent residents and many landmarks and reference buildings. It has a very lively shopping center with retail shops and restaurants and a large coastline with beaches that are a choice for many for swimming and walking. At the end of the coastline is the modern Marina of Floisvos where many private yachts are moored and at the same time a beautiful line with restaurants, cafe, bars is developing, attracting many people who want to take a leisurely stroll. Then, towards Piraeus, in Faliro Delta is the Museum of Air Force History and the Olympic Indoor Hall Tae Kwon Do, where many events and performances are organized. There is also the famous Village cinema with restaurants. Close to the Delta, the Eugenides Foundation with the Modern Digital Planetarium is located. Paleo Faliro has many sports centers as well as schools of all levels. This is an area that has access to key arteries of the Athens network, positively affecting its accessibility.
Specifically, it is adjacent to the coastal Poseidonos Avenue, crossed by Amphithea Avenue which ends at Andreas Syggrou Avenue, through which an easy connection is achieved with both Piraeus and the center of Athens. Its location and its special characteristics add investment value to its properties.
KALLITHEA
Kallithea belongs to the Southern Suburbs of Athens and is located next to Nea Smyrni, Tavros, Moschato, Neos Kosmos. It is an area with a very large number of permanent residents, as a result of which it is characterized as the most densely populated area of the country. This is an area on the borders of which, in addition to many permanent residences, very important buildings of education and culture are located. Specifically, the Panteion University of Political and Social Sciences, the Harokopio University, as well as the historic Sivitanideios Public School of Arts and Professions. Also the emblematic Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center with its unique facilities and the events it hosts. Kallithea is located at a very key point. Its residential center is the famous Davaki Square, which is only 3 km from the center of Athens. It is served by the main arteries Andrea Syggrou Avenue, El. Venizelou (formerly Theseos) and from the coastal Poseidonos Avenue, gaining also easy access to the center of Athens as well as to Piraeus. It is also easily connected to the Athens network by public transport, since it has the Athens Piraeus Electric Railways (ISAP)", Kallithea station, and neighboring metro stations, while there are many buses that cross it.
MYKONOS
Mykonos rightfully holds the title of "Queen of the Cyclades" thanks to its uniqueness and beauty. The capital of the island, Chora, exerts a special charm to its visitor due to the location and the buildings with their beautiful architecture. Cycladic white "houses" host large chains and well-known expensive boutiques, famous restaurants of high gastronomy and places of night entertainment. The cobbled alleys, the windmills, the preservation of the Cycladic architectural norm, the numerous domes and bell towers, the crystal clear seas, the amazing view create an enchanting atmosphere. Apart from Chora, however, the surrounding settlements, which are developing more and more, are equally unique. SANTORINI
Santorini or Thira belongs to the island group of Cyclades. It is known for its beautiful views and sunsets.
