GLYKA NERA
Glyka Nera belongs to the Eastern Region of Attica. They form a small city in Mesogeia of Attica and from a pine-covered rural area has begun to be converted into a purely residential area. The buildings and the houses have several similarities between them, forming a single architectural character. Specifically, autonomous low houses with tiled roofs dominate. The area has easy access to major arteries, such as Attiki Odos, Lavriou Avenue and Hemettus Ring Road, which connect it with key points of the capital. The metro and suburban line serves with stops in neighboring areas, such as the stations of Doukissis Plakentias and Kantza.
PENTELI
Penteli belongs to the Northern Suburbs and more specifically to the Municipality of Penteli, along with the areas of Nea Penteli and Melissia. It is an area with natural beauty and heavy vegetation next to Mount Pentelicus. It is located near Vrilissia and Anthousa. In Penteli is the Holy Monastery of Pantokrator-Tao (Ntaou) Penteli. It is a developed center with many residents.
CHALANDRI
Chalandri belongs to the Northern Sector of Athens and is located at the foot of Mount Pentelicus. Thanks to this and the fact that it is crossed by the Penteli-Chalandri stream, a beautiful green landscape is formed. Many people choose Chalandri for a walk or a bike ride on the sidewalks and bike paths. It has a lively center with beautiful shops that attract a lot of people for coffee, food or drink. It houses the offices of many companies and businesses, embassies and private hospitals. However, there are many houses, with the result that other parts resemble a big city and other a provincial town. It is located in a very central part of the area, as it has easy access to the main arteries of Athens, such as Attiki Odos and Kifisias and Mesogeion Avenues. Access is also easy by public transport, as there are bus lines but also metro and suburban stations (Chalandri, Plakentia and Nomismatokopio). Nearby areas are Maroussi, Vrilissia, Cholargos, Agia Paraskevi and Neo Psychiko.
AIGALEO
Aigaleo belongs to the Western Suburbs and is located near the center of Athens while its neighboring areas are Peristeri, Chaidari, Nikaia and Agia Varvara. It is located at a key point and is crossed by five main avenues of the Athens network such as Iera Odos, Petrou Ralli, Thivon, Athinon and Kifisos Avenues. It has very easy access by public transport with many bus lines and a metro station of the same name. A part of it is industrial land, but there are also houses - mainly of older construction - but also a very lively center with shops and public service buildings (Urban Planning, Forest services, etc.), due to the fact that, in the past, Aigaleo was the capital of West Attica. The University of West Attica is also located there, which attracts many students to the area.
METAMORPHOSI
Metamorfosi is located at the foot of Parnitha, near the center of Athens (12 km) and Kifisia. It was a working class settlement and used to be a key choice for the entertainment and recreation of the Athenians, because it had many taverns and reminded of a picturesque village near the capital. Today a modern municipality has been developed with a variety of shops, squares and parks. Access to Metamorfosi by public transport is possible through the buses that serve relevant routes, through the suburban railway but also through the metro in a neighboring area at the Neratziotissa station. It is crossed by Attiki Odos and the National Road, which create a junction within the boundaries of the area.
HERAKLION
Heraklion belongs to the Northern Sector of Athens. It is located very close to the areas of Nea Ionia, Pefki, Maroussi and Metamorfosi. It consists of sub-districts. It has a large center with shops, cafes, an open theater, a cinema where many people choose to go for a walk. Several cultural events also take place there very often, which have great appeal. Various radio and television stations are located within the boundaries of the Municipality. Many cultural events are also organized in the Cultural Center of the Municipality, where there is a library, exhibition areas and a theater. The Museum of National Resistance is also housed in the same building. The transportation of the area is very good since there is a metro station, a suburban train station and numerous bus lines. Access to Heraklion is also easy by car, since it is crossed by Attiki Odos.
PERISTERI
Peristeri belongs to the Western Suburbs of Athens and in fact has the largest numbers of permanent residents in the entire Western Sector of the capital. It is located very close to the center of Athens (4.5 km) and the areas of Aigaleo, Chaidari, Petroupolis and Ilion. In the past, the area was full of fields. But later, houses, industries, storage areas and factories were gradually created. The area is served by three metro stations, namely Agios Antonios, Peristeri and Anthoupolis, which is also a terminal. The bus network to metro stations is excellent with very frequent routes and many connections. Peristeri is adjacent to two major arteries of the Athens network, Kifissos Avenue and Athens Avenue.

MARATHON
Marathon belongs to Eastern Attica and is located near Nea Makri, Kapandriti and Stamata. It is a small town with special natural beauty, with heavy vegetation, sandy beaches and fertile areas with crops. It is particularly well known historically, since the battle of the same name took place there in 490 BC. It is also known thanks to the artificial lake that was built with the vision of providing water for Athens. Indeed, it served this purpose from 1931 to 1959. Access to the Marathon is very easy, as it has connections with main arteries and specifically the Attiki Odos and the Dionysos, Penteli and Limni Avenues (via the National Road Athens – Lamia).
MEGARA
Megara belongs to Western Attica and is located at an almost equal distance from Athens and Corinth. It is close to the sea and specifically to the waters of the northern part of the Saronic Gulf. The activity of poultry is intense in the area, while there are also some industries. Access is easy via the Athens-Corinth National Road and the Olympia Road, which is adjacent to it. Near Megara is Perama Megaridos from where there are ferry connections with Salamina, since at this point their distance is very short.
